Singer 221 Featherweight Sewing Machine-in stock to be restored for you

$625.00Price

If you're not in a rush, let us restore one of Singer's finest and most popular sewing machines, just for you.

Why is this one so loved by so many?

Of course, size matters, and this tiny, lightweight machine is the epitome of portability, weighing in at just 12 pounds.

But that's not the only reason.

This sweet machine features a full rotary hook that spins in just one direction, unlike the majority of oscillating-hook machines that go back and forth, back and forth, not only wasting the motors' energy but also shaking the machine and messing up the straight stitch.

The featherweight lays down the neatest, straightest stitch you could ask for.

But, again, not if you're in a rush to get her.

You see, we're in transit from our main shop, in Oregon, to our mobile, winter shop in the Southwest desert, near the Mexico border.

And we're not in a huge hurry to get there. There are too many sights to see and people to visit along the way.

Expect us to take 2 weeks to a month to get there, and a few more weeks to make her young again. More if you opt to have her custom painted, which also adds significantly to the cost.

But, then, hurry has never been part of our process. We take all the time needed to ensure that the machines we restore get all the attention needed to make sure they're running and sewing perfectly.

So, yes, she can be yours if you can wait.
