This is the straight-stitch sister to the famous Singer 401A, exactly the same machine, all-steel on the inside and lightweight aluminum on the outside. She's a slant-needle machine, which puts your project right out in front of you where you have the best view of your seam.
 
At this time, we're finishing up the refinishing of the Singer fold-up card table that she can be paired with. Just like the card table for the Singer Featherweight, this one was made to fit the full-size machines. We'll add pics when we're satisfied with the results.
 
We are not a Production Shop where getting product out the door for maximum profit is the goal. We are so inspired by the quality built into this fine pre-plastic sewing machine that we aspire to match the original care put into her creation.
