Vintage electric and people-powered sewing machines from a time when things were built to last.
Do you like quality and precision? Does style matter to you? Do plastic gears and cheap mass-produced, disposable sewing machines
offend you? You're not alone.

At Stagecoach Road Vintage Sewing Machine,
we seek out the best of the late 1950s and 1960s all-steel geared, precision sewing machines, the ones with fantastic styling, the two-toned ones
with fins and chrome, and analog display windows and indicators. Why? Because we can't help ourselves. We're hopelessly in love with the entire genre. |
||
Yes, we also restore the classic Singers and more from the earliest sewing machines, up through the late-1960s, and we love and respect them. You'll find 201s and 15-91s, and 99s and 66s on the following pages, that look like they just came out of the factory. There are so many all-steel, precision machines that will out-sew any home sewing machine made in the last several decades, that it's senseless to us, to buy a brand-new sewing machine, made with cheap materials, by underpaid factory workers in a foriegn country, and that probably won't last very long. |
||
Our mission is to find the best and strongest
of these fine, vintage, precision machines and bring them back to their prime.
|
||
If you are looking for a really good sewing machine, something that you just cannot buy new, or if your
vintage machine needs attention, we may be able to help.
